Our Belief
At Save Street Children Uganda (SASCU), we are guided by the profound truth found in James 1:27:
“Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world.”
As followers of Christ, we understand the transformative power of God’s boundless grace, through which we, too, have been adopted into His family. This understanding compels us to reflect His love by caring for orphaned and vulnerable children, embodying His heart for the least of these.
Our mission extends beyond addressing physical needs—it is rooted in the eternal hope found in Christ. We believe that a Gospel-centered family serves as a powerful testament to God’s love, offering a pathway to salvation for children, parents, and communities alike.
Statement of faith
At Save Street Children Uganda, our ministry is firmly grounded in the unshakable truth of God’s Word and the redemptive power of Jesus Christ. This Statement of Faith serves as the foundation for every aspect of our work:
- GOD (FATHER, SON, AND HOLY SPIRIT)
We believe in one God, eternally existing in three Persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

We affirm that Jesus Christ, the only begotten Son of God, was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, fully God and fully man.

We believe in the physical resurrection of Jesus, His ascension into Heaven, and His present role as High Priest and Advocate, providing wholeness for body, soul, and spirit.

2. SALVATION & THE WORK OF CHRIST
We believe that Jesus Christ’s sacrificial death on the cross was for our sins, and that salvation comes by grace through faith in Him alone.

We anticipate His personal, visible return and believe the redeemed will live eternally with Him while the lost will face eternal separation.

We believe in the Church’s mission to disciple nations, sharing the Gospel and fulfilling the Great Commission.
