School Kit

Access to education is particularly difficult for underprivileged population groups. In Uganda, these groups include children who grow up in poverty and in particular, the girls are heavily affected because of traditional gender roles. Numerous girls have to help out at home, but also early marriages or teenage pregnancies can stop them from attending school. The poorer the family is, the lower the children’s educational opportunities are. By supporting the parents with their educational costs, we make sure that there are fewer reasons for them to take their child out of school.
