Goat

Goats are very essential for the livelihood of the families that we work with. You see the animals freely running around everywhere, even in the city centers. They provide their owners with nutritious milk and families earn extra income by selling the surplus which can then be used for the children’s education and healthcare.

How does it work:

SASCU gives a family a female and male goat which give offspring twice a year. This pairing often has twins and even triplets, which makes it a very sustainable support. The parent animals may not be slaughtered which is one of the fundamentals of the cooperation with our organization and the implementation is checked regularly.
