SASCU is a membership organization that is constituted by former street children, professionals and community members. The members and children are the primary stakeholders in the organization. They come together once in a year in an Annual General Meeting which is constituted by all subscribed members; and is the supreme decision making organ of the organization. The Annual General meeting elects the Board of Directors every two years. The Board comprises of 7 members. The Board proposes and approves policies for the proper functioning of SASCU, recruits and oversees core staff who manage the operations of the organization and its programmes.

At operational level, SASCU’s management structure is headed by the Executive Director who is appointed by the Board along with members of his/her Management Team. The Executive director is assisted by the Programme Director as well as the Administration and Finance Manager. The programme Director spearheads the planning and implementation of all programmes/ projects (including programme development, monitoring and evaluation). He/ she is assisted by project coordinators and officers. Interns and volunteers also help in implementing programme activities.
